In honor of black history month, Mr. Geisler will discuss the role of slave-owner letters in American History. The correspondences between southern slave owners reveals intimate details about the system of slavery and the later Reconstruction.

Mr. Geisler is the Founder of the Triple Cities Stamp Club. He has over a decade of professional experience in philately and is also the president of the Burholme Stamp club.

The lecture will take place in the Bundy Museum on February 13th, 2010 at 1:30 PM
