Newsletter Internship

                                 Bundy Museum Internship Opportunity

The Bundy Museum, which operates as a not-for-profit Victorian museum and art gallery, is offering a valuable opportunity to undergraduate or graduate students interested in writing for, managing, and producing the museum’s newsletter.  Four hours of undergraduate credit are available for Binghamton University students, as well as non-credit internships and volunteer positions.

These students will be responsible for researching and writing articles for and physically producing and distributing the newsletter and for promoting the museum and gallery to the community, in addition to coordinating and participating in any special tours or programming for the museum and attending and providing feedback at Bundy Museum meetings.  This internship will provide the student with experience in research, project management, computer publishing, educational outreach, and working independently, all highly valued by employers, in addition to a letter of recommendation from the director and important contacts within the Southern Tier business community.

If receiving one or two undergraduate credits, the student will be required to give 60-120 hours over the course of the semester and will be evaluated at the end of the term. This internship is ideal for English, Literature, Rhetoric, Journalism and Comparative Literature majors, or anyone with a strong interest in writing and news production who desires to learn more.
