“Live From First Friday” performances rock the Bundy every first Friday of the month, all year long. We shine the light on local performers heard round the area, and bring them here for your pure enjoyment, and free.
Last month, we enjoyed the great sounds of Devinne Meyers and her amazing musicality and instrumentals. Ms. Meyers really loves to travel and sing for everyone, and doesn’t shy away from a performance or an interview and a chance to spread her message of joy. Devinne, will return to the Bundy for another rocking evening in July for “The Art of Binghamton”. Opening the event on June 7th in the gallery on the 3rd floor of the Bundy Museum will be, Alex Creamer, from 6 to 9PM.
"Creamer finds the sweet spot somewhere between late 1960s folk and late 1990s Lilith Fair, with confessional lyrics and stripped-back arrangements.” - Chris Kocher
Taking a quick glance at Alex’s Facebook page, one can see that she enjoys playing guitar on her front porch, hiking in the mountains, and drinking very dark beer. Alex has a great smile and lots of spirit, and we are sure you’ll be touched by her sound that spans decades of styles of music.
That same night continues our “Live From First Friday” performances with the entrancing and soulful voice of Bess Greenberg. Bess intertwines an upright bass and guitar with her smooth sounds, and will definitely put some groove into your evening. She will perform at 7PM.
Be sure to remember to catch our May “Live From First Friday” entertainer, Taze Yanick, inspiring you with his Jazz guitar playing. Taze is a native of Seattle, Washington. There, he attended the Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences, along with The Evergreen State College, and landed here at Binghamton University. He graces coffee houses and other venues around the area, and we are proud to be presenting Taze to you, as well.
