Artist Bio:
Kevin McGoff was born and raised in Johnson City, New York. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from SUNY New Paltz in 1995. He has participated in a number of group and solo shows in Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina, San Francisco, California, and New York City. Kevin currently resides near Boston, Massachusetts.

Artist Statement:
In my collage pieces, I weave together fragments of the past by repurposing images and text from vintage magazines. Inspired by the tenets and formalism of abstract painting, I employ a fusion of colors and textures, integrating the tactile nature of paint into my compositions. Each piece is a dance between nostalgic elements and contemporary expressions, inviting viewers to explore the intersection of history and abstraction within the confines of the visual narratives.

I am thankful to be exhibiting at the Bundy Museum of History and Art, which plays an essential role in bringing art and culture to my hometown community.
