Artist Statement:

My flaws as a photographer show in my work. They are a fingerprint to my identity as an artist. I try not to hide those flaws because I'm not perfect. Life is not perfect.

Often I struggle to answer the question, Am I an Artist? Our world had stopped when Covid hit, silencing much of my everyday routines. Life slowed down, giving me time to focus on a path to find the answer, although it's a path riddled with insecurities and uncertainty. I have created many failures, but those failures are stepping-stones laid out for the trail on my journey of calling myself an artist. One day I will find what I'm looking for, but for now I'll continue to struggle looking for the answer.

Artist Bio:

I don't really have too much to say about myself... I was born in Binghamton back in 1988. In 2006 I went to work for McDonald's and met my wife Alisha. We had our daughter in 2008 and our second child was coming along in 2014. That's when I met my love for photography. In 2014, I purchased a NIKON D3100 as a Christmas gift for my wife so we could take better photos of our growing children. Unfortunately, due to the lack of finding extra time with raising a family and working the camera got little use. In 2015 I decided to get back into it and have since grown addicted to both photography and art. It is now 2021 and we are expecting our third child, another little one for me to document in my somewhat unconventional style. I don't know where my art is going to take me in the future, but for now I feel I'm on the right track. My biggest hope is to create honesty in all of my work and to establish photos that will last generations.
