Artist Statement:

After years of talking about doing a cross country road trip with my brothers, we finally made it happen. We spent two weeks on the road together driving just under 8,000 miles. We saw so much more than we expected to see on this trip. Everything from the grand canyon to three of Utah’s national parks, cows (so many cows), Yosemite and so much more.

People constantly talk about traveling out of the country, but rarely think about what America has to offer. There are so many different landscapes and cultures right here at home. I saw more in these two weeks than I had seen in the last few years. Every single state has something different to offer. St. Louis had some of the best BBQ that I’ve ever had, California and Arizona offered some of my favorite landscapes and burritos.

This trip allowed me to view the U.S from a totally different perspective and I couldn’t be more thankful for the experience and memories with my brothers.
