Artist Statement:
Symbiosis is a multi-medium exploration of unity through contrast. Featuring works in pyrography, acrylic painting, watercolor, and ink drawing, this exhibition highlights the ways distinct artistic styles can coexist and complement one another. Each piece stands alone in its technique and texture—whether scorched into wood, brushed onto canvas, or sketched in delicate lines—yet together they create a harmonious visual rhythm.
Despite their differences, these works share a common energy: an underlying flow that connects the raw with the refined, the fluid with the structured. Symbiosis invites viewers to experience the balance that emerges when diverse forms of expression are woven into a single creative vision.
Artist Bio:
Aili Shae Perry is a multi-medium artist whose work bridges the worlds of fine art and personal expression through pyrography, watercolor, ink drawing, and tattoo. Blending organic textures with precise line work, their pieces often explore the contrast between permanence and impermanence—burned into wood, etched into skin, or flowing across paper.
Drawing inspiration from nature, anatomy, and the obscure. Aili is both a tattoo apprentice at Guardian of the Tat and a seasoned Hairstylist, She lives to create and share her art in all forms every day.
