Welcome to Marek's World of Neo-Stip /Pointillism!

The Impressionist movement emerged late in the 19th century. Among these artists was Georges Seurat. Dots of color were mixed by the viewer’s eye. This technique became known as pointillism, or dotted art. Here today you are seeing the rebirth of pointillism. Marek's passion for the technical effort and skills of printmaking have morphed into this pointillist style painting he has named Neo-Stip. Using mixed colors, the energy of Marek's acrylic painting style lures the viewers closer to discover the coloristic surprise not visible from afar.

Marek hopes you find these original acrylic paintings entertaining!

Artist Statement:
In today’s action packed, fun filled world, it can be nice to take time out for some time “grounding”. Reset your energy. A nice stroll through a forest, dreaming and admiring nature in its order and simplicity will reset your focus and energy.

Marek’s Neo-Stip pointillist paintings will help you find a change of perspective. Enter and Walk Through a Forest of Dreams. You will emerge changed. These acrylic paintings will help you decompress, get grounded, and hopefully entertain you. An indoor immersion in Forest Bathing is a great distraction in a world of other distractions.

Notice not only the trees of the forest, but the use of the pointillist technique. Discover the coloristic surprises in each Neo-Stip painting. Relax, chill and enjoy your Walk Through a Forest of Dreams! Enjoy! May the Forest Be with You!

About the Artist - Marek:
An average kid from a typical local family. High school in the Chenango Valley, college in the Genesee Valley, Marek has not strayed far from his roots.

The captivating allure of the hills and valleys formed by the Chenango, Tioughnioga and Otselic Rives have provided great comfort and stimulation during his walk through life.

A love of nature, animals, music, and peace have fueled the energetic style of his paintings. Take a moment to immerse yourself into Neo-Stip Pointillism. Stop, look and listen to your heart as you take in the sights and sensations of our local roots, through Marek's work.
